3 arrested on drug charges

RANDLEMAN — Three men were arrested on drug charges after the Vice Narcotics Unit of the Randolph County Sheriff's Department searched a home at 4863 Ingold Drive on Tuesday.

Detectives seized more than 5 pounds of marijuana, 71 dosage units of Alprazolam, 40 dosage units of Oxycodone, 29 dosage units of Hydrocodone, three dosage units of Diazepam, drug paraphernalia and $2,991 in cash. Six firearms and ammunition were also seized.

Millis Edward Albright, 61, of 4863 Ingold Drive in Randleman, was charged with trafficking in opium, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver Schedule IV drugs, conspiracy to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or or deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $150,000 secured.

Patrick Todd Morgan, 43, also of 4863 Ingold Drive in Randleman, was charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, conspiracy to sell or deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $20,000 secured.

William Dean Upchurch, 45, of 2197 Millboro Road in Franklinville, was charged with conspiracy to sell or deliver marijuana, simple possession of a Schedule II drug and possession of marijuana up to 1.5 ounces. His bond was set at $10,000 secured.
