The Randolph Community Concerts Association is launching its 65th season, with four local performances beginning on Sept. 29 with The Gothard Sisters, who specialize in fierce, fast fiddling and a splash of lively step dancing.
Other Asheboro concerts are The Diamonds on Oct. 26 at Asheboro High School’s Performing Arts Center, our own Randolph Jazz Band on Feb. 9, 2014, at the renovated Sunset Theatre and Molasses Creek on March 2, 2014, also at the Sunset.
Randolph Community Concerts Association is a membership organization, relying on membership fees for funds to acquire outstanding concert acts. Businesses are also counted on to make it possible to enjoy the kind of quality entertainment the series is known for.
Members will be able to attend not only the four local concerts but also 18 other concerts in nearby communities. You could attend 22 concerts for a total of $50. Not only is a membership a bargain, but it also provides the opportunity to enjoy quality entertainment at great savings.
Reciprocal concerts are held at in Albemarle, Lincolnton, Statesville and Gastonia.
