Easter Eggstravaganza

Friday, March 29, 2013 — Asheboro Cultural & Recreation Services is sponsoring the annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 30. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North Asheboro Park on Canoy Drive.

More than 7,500 candy-filled eggs, including hundreds of prize eggs, will be hidden throughout North Asheboro Park. Children from the ages of 1 to 10 are eligible to participate.  The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance.

The egg hunt times are: 5- to 7-year-olds at 10:30 a.m.; 1- to 2-year-olds at 11:30 a.m.; 3- to 4-year-olds at 11:30 a.m.; 8- to 10-year-olds at 12:30 p.m.

    Accompanied by her parents, Dusty and Bill, 15-year-old sister Alexandra and twin sister Jocelyn, Joelle was an official zookeeper for two days last week after being flown down by Make-A-Wish.
