Randolph Hospital Volunteer Services
Volunteer position: Outpatient Center greeter, escort, transport volunteer
When needed: Monday-Friday 6 a.m.-10 a.m. (high priority to be filled), 7:30 a.m.-noon,10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Description: Greet and assist incoming patients and families to Randolph Hospital.

Randolph County Senior Adults Association
Volunteer position: Salt/Pepper senior store coordinator
When needed: Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Description: Creatively assist the staff at the Senior Adults Center in the Salt/Pepper box thrift store. The items sold in the Salt/Pepper box are made and/or donated by Randolph County Seniors. The proceeds help to support the programs and services offered by the Randolph County Senior Adults Association.

American Cancer Society
Volunteer position: Road to Recovery
When needed: On as needed basis
Description: This position provides transportation for local cancer patients receiving treatment, to and from, the new Randolph County Cancer Center at Randolph Hospital.

4-H/Cooperative Extension Services
Volunteer position: Office Phone Assistant
When needed: On an as needed basis Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and noon to 5 p.m.
Description: This position will be added to a master list kept at the Cooperative Extension Office and will assist the 4-H and Cooperative Extension offices when key personnel are unavailable.

American Red Cross
Volunteer positions: Special event and office helpers to assist with service related office tasks and with fundraisers and public events; health and safety instructors to teach classes such as CPR/FA/AED and babysitting to the community (training will be provided by the ARC); disaster volunteers to help victims of disaster in Randolph County; blood drive greeter to welcome donors to blood drives and distribute reading material prior to registration; and canteen volunteers to provide refreshments for donors who have completed the collection process and observe donors for any possible reactions.

Randolph District
Volunteer positions: Camping program chair to serve as a member of the district committee, chair to the Camping Program Team, recruit and train volunteers to promote and provide information about seasonal camping opportunities; popcorn sale chair to raise the popcorn sale goal for the district to assist in financing the program of Scouting; and programs chair to serve as a member of the district committee, identify, recruit and oversee members of the district program committee. Other volunteer positions include district advancement chair, district Family Friends of Scouting chair, district finance chair, district membership chair, district training chair and district nominating chair.

Ash-Rand Rescue
Volunteer positions: Rescue team, ambulance assistance, water/dive team, search & rescue team and urban search & rescue team.
Description: Ash-Rand Rescue is a highly trained and state certified organization providing emergency rescue and medical services to all areas of Randolph County. Training will be provided for all volunteer opportunities. Call for age requirements and skill levels. Each volunteer opportunity is unique in its requirements.

Description: Need individuals and/or groups to participate in Back Pack Program by providing food and/or pack backpacks for children in Randolph County schools.

Humane Society of Randolph County
Volunteer positions: To schedule pets getting spayed/neutered on Twenty Five Buck Truck
Description: Collect paperwork and money on the mornings of the Twenty Five Buck Truck, make sure pet owners sign the form, help with any questions they have; assist with public education (phone calls/booths/talks), fundraisers and/or errands (picking up/delivering food/supplies) to pet owners to help them keep pets in their homes.
