Art show winners

ASHEBORO — The Randolph Arts Guild recently announced the winners of the 26th annual Juried Arts Show in the Sara Smith Self Gallery at the Moring Arts Center. Juror Jack Stone of Greensboro selected winners from 79 entries.

Honorable Mentions were won by June Rollins of Wadesboro, Juan Villa of Asheboro, Tamara Konovalova of Salisbury, Lena Jones of Greensboro, Martha Crotty of Asheboro, Ronnie Tew of Asheboro, Linda Gunter of Seagrove, Brenda Jones of Asheboro and Tom Howard of Asheboro.

Third place and $50 went to Kevin Fogel of Seagrove for “Quietude.” Second place and $100 was awarded to Ed Rich for “At Road’s End.” First place and $150 was won by Scott Murkin for “Strata XXVIII: Open Pit Mine.” Marina Konovalova-Bare of Salisbury won Best In Show and $200. for “Fortune’s Change.”

The show will be up through June 26.
