ASHEBORO — Boyd Allred

ASHEBORO — Boyd Allred, 84, of Asheboro, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Randolph Hospice House.

The funeral was held Feb. 5 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, where he was a member, by the Rev. Travis Brock. Burial with military rites was at the church cemetery.

He was a Randolph County native, Korean War Army veteran and retired from Thomas Brothers Ham.

Surviving are wife, Marie Kimrey Allred of the home; daughter, Debi Allred Morgan of Archdale; sisters, Wanda Sue Ekas of Julian, Marie Smith of Liberty; brothers, James E. Allred of Julian, Clarence Allred Jr. of Asheboro, Travis Lee Allred of Tampa, Fla., Vance Hanes Allred of Franklinville; one grandson.

Victor Allred

FRANKLINVILLE — Victor Clay Allred, 73, of Franklinville, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation.

A memorial service was held Feb. 10 at Pugh Funeral Home.

He was an Asheboro native and retired rock mason.

Surviving are daughters, Corey Allred of Asheboro, Hope Allred of Arkansas; brothers, Marty Allred, Johnny Allred, both of Asheboro, Thomas W. Allred of Franklinville; sister, Deloris Key of Asheboro; three grandchildren.

Wallace Beane

ASHEBORO — Andrew Wallace Beane, 90, of 576 Foxfire Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at his home.

The funeral was held Feb. 6 at Holly’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a member, by the Rev. Dwayne Lester and the Rev. Mark Ainsworth. Burial was at Franklinville United Methodist Church cemetery.

He was a Columbus, Ga., native, World War II Navy veteran, formerly employed by Burlington Industries and retired from Jockey.

Surviving are wife, Viola R. Beane of the home; son, Walter Harris Beane of Asheboro; brother, Anderson T. Beane of Florence, S.C.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one stepgrandson.
