Ramseur woman to head sheep group

RAMSEUR AnnaRae Hodgin of Ramseur was elected president of the National Tunis Sheep Registry Inc. at the National Tunis Sale held at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Wooster, Ohio, during the Great Lakes Wool & Fiber Show in May.

Hodgin served on the board of directors from 1993 to 2001 in various positions, serving as secretary for five years. She was re-elected in May to serve another three-year term.

The flock is also one of the largest flocks of registered Tunis in the United States. Hodgin will attend the North American International Livestock Expo in Louisville, Ky., in November.
